NZ Herald travel wroter Jim Eagles, stuck at an airport, killed time by reading our website.
Mind you, he did this during an eight-hour layover at Charles de Gaulle Airpot in Paris. There would have been enough time to visit Paris. But instead he read our website. There’s little doubt — he’s one of us.
He was “thrilled comatose by” our report on world wide luggoge carousels.
He liked our impressively lacklustre review of Alain de Botton’s book The Art of Travel (click here to read the review).

Thats how I found out about the DMC, good old NZ, provincial NZ is a great place to find ordinary things. For DMC sports enthusiasts I highly recommend the Whanganui table tennis club and for something more ordinary attend a meeting of the Ekatahuna branch of the Womans Division of Federated Farmers – the asparagus rolls and lamingtons at morning tea are outstanding.
