It’s also a day to celebrate the humbleness of aprons and the spirit of earlier generations who wore these symbols of home and family.

It’s suggested that, on the eve of Thanksgiving, we wrap up a loaf of bread, tuck a prayer or note of encouragement in the package, and give it to a needy person.
