Here is an interesting story about a proposal to regularise the taxation of witches in Romania. I expect that the most serious offenders would have to endure a spell in prison.

That’s interesting indeed. Makes one wonder what governments will think of next.
What tax deductions will witches be able to claim? First one that comes to mind is their brooms. And then capes and pointed hats.
Quite a number of DMC members are tax accountants. We were doing to ask them questions about this. But then decided not to. We don’t want to put them on the spot (Dull Men don’t like to put people on the spot). We don’t want to force them to admit some of their clients are witches.
