If you’ve ever wondered what’s behind the tall hedges and locked gates surrounding private gardens in London, then this weekend is for you. 115 of these gardens will be open to the public. Ticket prices from £11 to £22.
When these open gardens weekends began 25 years ago, the entries then were all in the west part of London, the so-called Garden Squares. Since then, they have spread throughout London. Here’s the list: https://londongardenstrust.org/whatson/london-open-gardens-2024/participating-gardens/

Not Square?
As we in the Dull Men’s Club strive to be accurate, we should point out that not all of these “garden squares” are square. Many are rectangles. There are ovals. There’s even a trapezoid.
