Snowglobes are a wonderful. Fun to watch. Great way to enjoy winter. You can watch snow blowing around without having to go outdoors where it’s cold and you get wet.
The snowglobe shown above is from the website snowdomes.com, specifically here’s its URL: http://www.snowdomes.com/snow_globes/product/Home_Christmas. It’s rather expensive. There are less expensive ones on the website.
Here’s a dull one we found on Google Images:

During my frequent reread of the American TSA regulations regarding what can be carried onboard aeroplanes I was gratified to see that snowglobes have been moved off the forbidden list. There are limits on the size still but it is progress. I believe watching the snow settle inside during take-off and landing of the air liner is still not allowed. Perhaps someone will discover a way to put the globes into airplane mode.
Watching snow globes for me is just too stressful. The snow in mine always melts before hitting the bottom.
