Giving thanks — a two-way street for some dullsters

Dustbin Dave in Caister-on-Sea, Norfolk, is an example. He is thankful for many things, especially that he has found an enjoyable way of celebrating the ordinary — he is passionate about rubbish bins.

The flip side are the thanks coming to him for his promoting “binterest”, encouraging people to take an interest in and using rubbish bins.

Thanks also come from another tidying activity Dave does together with his son Elliot, 15, and daughter Holly, 18. They belong to the Norfolk Beach Cleans team.
