Anniversary of first auto insurance policy
On February 1, 1998, The Travelers Insurance Company of Hartford, Connecticut, issued car insurance to Dr. Truman J. Martin of Buffalo, New York. Dr. Martin paid an insurance premium of $11.25 for $10,000 of liability coverage. This was fir time time car insurance had ever been issued.
There is quite a number of insurance agents who are DMC members. They often bring expired insurance policies to our meetings. We enjoy passing them around the room and reading them.
