Dear DMC,
I live on Martha’s Vineyard , an island off the coast of Massachusetts. A friend recently sent me a link to your podcast on freakonomics radio. He remembered that about 10 years ago, I was a fierce promoter of a proposed roundabout at a particularly problematic intersection on the island.
After about 8 years of fierce debate, it finally got built, and everyone agrees, it works like a champ.
I, by the way hold the unofficial record for continuous rotations on a bicycle, 21 rotations.
I wrote this letter to the editor that I think you might get a kick out of it: https://www.mvtimes.com/2011/12/21/kyklohodophobia-his-word-8882/
Sincerely (dull men are always sincere, mostly),
Don Keller
