An incomplete bench? That’s what it looks like. Only half of it has a back. Why?
Perhaps the reason for the no back portion is extra room to accommodate certain people.
The market stall in the background — the word “taste” on its back wall — is my favourite place for olives. Some are too exciting for me, too spicy, but they have several tame varieties , e.g. plain olives, pimento-stuffed olives.
