I hope you will add the Museum of Independent Telephony in Abilene, Kansas to your website.
The majority of the museum is walls of telephones. In addition, I understand they have added a section on ceramic and glass insulators and another dedicated to telephone dials.
I know actually talking on the telephone can get exciting, however, just looking at telephones should be safe.

Thanks for this Leonora. It’s great to see this equipment from a more leisurely time compared to today’s telephony.
We read on their website about their effective way to keep visitors coming back: they change the exhibits from time to time. That’s a great idea.
