NBC Today Show: “Has the U.S. become an exaggeration nation”
A segment about exaggeration in the U.S. on NBC’s Today Show yesterday caught our attention.
We often wonder that. Why does everything have to be ether the “best” or the “worst”?
What ever happened to “normal”?
Is there any wrong with being “normal”? . . . or “common” . . . or “standard” . . . or “ordinary”? . . . We don’t think so.

I do not think the U.S. is an exaggeration nation. There are thousand mile wide tracts of land in the U.S. that are referred to as “fly-over” territory because many D-List celebrities insist that there is nothing in these areas to be excited about.
I someone has been watching too much television. Television is exaggeration made manifest.
